many rejoice on the streets of America. Never had the people out of America been so joyous with the choice of the new US president as well.

Many political leaders from all over world like Japan, China, India,Thailand, Indonesia all voiced their delight at Obama's appointment. Most expressed their delight at the prospect of better relational ties with the US.

Indeed, Obama represent a positive change in relationship between US and other nations.

A charismatic leader indeed.

this week obama made it one step better by becoming the first ever black president of US.

45 years ago, Martin Luther King had a dream.
Today, Barack Obama made that dream comes true.

Today, they have a nation where the young and old, men and women, would be judge on the content of their character, but not on the colour of their skin.

Today, they have a country of true liberty.

While many americans cheer for the newly elected president, in the eastern hemisphere of the globe, are countries like Singapore and Malaysia ready for such liberalism?

Not now...
but maybe one day.
