recently, i was reading a newspaper article, it was quite interesting...

MR David Silfrey, an expert on blogs and changes in the digital media environment, commented that while blogs continue to be a personal diary of sorts for many, there is a growing minority in Asia who specialise in areas like technology, music, politics or art, to atrract readership.

totally agreed.

as a result of this phenonmenon, bloggers become brands.

people start knowing them and over time, and over time, forming an intangible sense of loyalty.

At the same time, he noted that while Asians were less likely to blog about politics, largely due to the culture, Asians leads in the usage of mobile techonlogy as more Asians are using advanced Internet-connected mobile phones...

however, at the same time, with the proliferation of blogosphere and online communication tools, concerns over online mischief also arise.
