recently, i was reading a newspaper article, it was quite interesting...

MR David Silfrey, an expert on blogs and changes in the digital media environment, commented that while blogs continue to be a personal diary of sorts for many, there is a growing minority in Asia who specialise in areas like technology, music, politics or art, to atrract readership.

totally agreed.

as a result of this phenonmenon, bloggers become brands.

people start knowing them and over time, and over time, forming an intangible sense of loyalty.

At the same time, he noted that while Asians were less likely to blog about politics, largely due to the culture, Asians leads in the usage of mobile techonlogy as more Asians are using advanced Internet-connected mobile phones...

however, at the same time, with the proliferation of blogosphere and online communication tools, concerns over online mischief also arise.

Few days back, i was talking to my online teammate from an interactive online game Utopia, and we were just having some casual chat until we started talking about our nationalities...

He's a malaysian. Knowing im a singaporean, he was pretty surprised i knew quite a lot about malaysian politics and started sharing with me about the people are frustrated over there and how envious they are of their friends and relatives living in singapore. He was comparing between the lives of minority groups between sg and msia; that the minority groups in singapore do not face the same problems like the minority groups in msia faced.

He mentioned there were never equality and so on and so forth, then he told me of a famous video that was uploaded by a malaysian rapper, which he claimed was pretty accurate in relaying how the minority groups in msia feels...

as according to him, it's a bit crude, but accurate. And the rapper subsequently got into trouble with the law after the video was uploaded as well..

Well.. of course i suppose so, who can get awat with that? but right here you see people using creativity to express their inner voice..

lol... creative people just utilize creative mediums as a mean of expression.
